Our English as a Second Language classes are a free oportunity to learn or improve your English. This is something we offer to everyone and anyone in the community who wants learn the English language, Canadian Culture, and find new friends and community. There are up to 4 levels of English instruction.
When you come, your English ability will be evaluated and then you will join a class based on your ability. We get students from many different countries and language groups around the world.
Our classes follow the same schedule as the Delta School District. We run our ESL year from September - June, and take a break for Christmas and Spring Break. During the summer, we will take a break from our regular classes, but offer special summer activities, events, and groups.
Yvonne Li is our ESL Director. She first came to be part of Delta Church through the ESL Ministry. If you would like to be part of it, please send Yvonne an e-mail and she will take care of everything.
